Welcome to the WPWB photography pages. Over the last 20-some years, I have traveled extensively in North Carolina and moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2019, where I continue to bird and photograph. My photography skills and equipment have improved over the years. Still, I like to capture an image of a bird in its natural habitat, behaving naturally, and the technical skills come second. Knowing that my presence has not disturbed nature or a bird’s life is the best scenario.
Special Bird Photography Collections
You are invited to view bird photography from multiple field trips to Eastern North Carolina and South Carolina. We trekked out to the coast almost every fall or winter for 10 years, and we also enjoyed wonderful trips to Magee Marsh, Mexico, and Japan. (Works only if you have a FLICKR account or sign up (Free))
